The summons is the document that brings a person to Court.

It explains the allegation.

It explains the Court date and venue.

You must turn up in Court

Attending Court

When you are told to go to court, you must go.

You are allowed to challenge the allegation.

You must be given the evidence that supports the allegation Statements/Disclosure.

You must decide if you accept (guilty) or reject (not guilty) the allegation.

You can only decide when you know the case against you.

You can call you own witnesses.

You do not have to be your own witness unless you wish.

You have to decide what you want.

If you are wrong the Judge will likely agree.
