John O’Dwyer is the Coroner for South Mayo and Evan O’Dwyer is the Deputy Coroner. In conjunction with Mayo County Council they have published a simple guide to the role of the Coroner. Having to deal with Inquests and Coroners can be a daunting task particularly when a loved one has been lost. The guide hopes to set out what is involved and explain in simple language the entire process.
